Crema started as a dream of Joe and Heidi to combine each other's heritage and cuisines into something unique that embosses our view of life.

He grew up in Taipei, Taiwan.

She grew up in Lima, Peru.
After years of travelling and exploring both Asian and Latin American cuisine, the duo started playing with the idea of combining the flavours and ingredients from both cultures.
Crema was born in 2019, when Heidi was finishing Joe’s homemade birthday Ice Cream Cake, a family tradition. It just clicked. Their homemade ice cream was the center of many of their celebrations, heartaches or just to spend time together. Every memory surrounding ice cream brought up happiness and that is the feeling they want to share with Crema.
